Set or Seth, is the primary god of chaos in Egyptian pantheon. He has also been designated as a god of war, storm, disorder, waste, drought, famine, destruction, hunger, and foreign invasion/influence, everything which the Egyptian people feared and often hated. Although he was feared for cruel behaviour, he was respected.
Set was the son of Geb and Nut and the brother of Osiris, Isis and Nephthys.
