Geb, also known as Seb or Keb, was the Egyptian god of the earth, vegetation, fertility, earthquakes and snakes.

Overview[]

Geb was the son of Shu and Tefnut, who in turn were children of Ra (or Atum), and the sister of Nut, whom he also married and was the father of the gods OsirisIsisNephthys and Set.

With Ra (or Atum), Shu, Tefnut, OsirisIsisNephthysSet and Horus the formed the Great Ennead of the Heliopolis cosmogony.
